The PNP faced the daunting challenge of manually finding and matching points of comparison in latent prints, a laborious task even for experienced forensic examiners. The sheer volume of tenprint cards presented a formidable challenge to efficient identification and crime solving.
Our Solution
We implemented NEC's highly sophisticated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) across three mega-laboratory sites. NEC's AFIS is renowned for its ultra-fast search capabilities, massive storage capacity, and seamless interoperability with other local and international AFIS systems.

The implementation has dramatically modernized the PNP's fingerprint identification process, completely replacing older manual methods. This led to significant enhancement in efficiency and speed of law enforcement efforts, greatly improving crime solving capabilities nationwide.

IP-PBX with Fiber Optic Backbone and Structured Cabling

The PNP National Headquarters faced a critical need to replace its outdated legacy analog communication system, which was limiting operational efficiency and future growth potential.
Our Solution
We implemented a modern IP PBX system with cutting-edge 192C fiber optic backbone and structured cabling across all buildings. The implementation involved comprehensive planning, IP addressing, VLANs setup, precise cable laying, splicing, termination, and rigorous testing.

Delivered dramatically improved communication, enhanced network performance, increased reliability, and significant cost savings. The PNP's Smart Policing Program has leveraged our network implementation, enabling seamless system integration and advanced data analytics.
Rapid Portable DNA Analyzer
Philippine National Police - Forensic DNA Unit
Challenge/Need
The PNP's Forensic DNA Unit required a quick and accurate method for DNA testing to accelerate investigations, particularly in time-sensitive situations where rapid results could impact suspect apprehension.
Our Solution
We supplied the RapidHIT™ ID System, a rapid, portable, and fully automated DNA analyzer for forensic DNA analysis. This system generates CODIS-compatible DNA profiles in approximately 90 minutes with minimal hands-on time, including comprehensive training and three years support.
Impact/Results
Dramatic reduction in DNA profile generation time from weeks/months to 90 minutes. This has significantly streamlined workflows, reduced manual steps, and freed up forensic scientists for complex analytical tasks, enhancing overall investigative efficiency.
Supply and Installation of Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer
Philippine National Police - Forensic Chemistry Unit
Challenge/Need
The PNP's Forensic Chemistry Unit required additional, highly accurate drug verification equipment to expand analytical capabilities across National Headquarters and regional sites, necessitating 8 new units.
Our Solution
We supplied and installed eight Shimadzu GC Mass Spectrometer systems with specialized helium pipe infrastructure across 2 NHQ sites and 6 regional sites. We also provided essential laboratory consumables including Biobase Fumehoods, Centrifuge Machines, and Analytic Balances.
Impact/Results
The integration of Shimadzu GC systems with user-friendly interfaces has significantly eased operation and maintenance. This comprehensive solution fulfilled the critical need for advanced drug verification equipment, substantially enhancing the PNP's capacity for precise forensic chemical analysis.
